My 12 year old friend, Ellie, came by today for her annual creative visit. Because I had just purchased glossy, colorful heirloom tomatoes I set them up for us to draw and paint. This is the beginning of her painting.....

ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. She was so mad at us for having to leave before it was finished. We'd told her we were leaving in the afternoon, but apparently she didn't quite understand the exact timing of things. She was very upset, so not sure how to schedule the completion of the project. She doesn't want it to be another year before she see's you. It's an incredible piece. She is getting amazing, what with all the artists in her life passing on vision and technique. :) Thanks sooo much.
